The Deutscher Werkbund (German Work Federation) was a German association of artists, architects, designers, and industrialists that become an important event in the development of modern architecture and industrial design.
The Werkbund was founded in October 1907 in Munich and originally included twelve architects, as Peter Behrens, Theodor Fischer and Richard Riemerschmid, as well as twelve business firms.
At the day of the opening (Wednesday , 09.06.2010, at 20.30), art historian, Brigitte Kuntzsch, will present a lecture about the German Association.
